Sector Commanders Forum -Muktijuddho ’71 has condemned Pakistan’s interference in the internal affairs of Bangladesh.

SCF, the pro-liberation platform, this morning also protested Pakistan foreign ministry’s statement on November 22 that expressed “deep concern and anguish” over the execution of war criminals Salauddin Quader Chowdhury and Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed.

Whether the government will continue its diplomatic relations with Pakistan after its continued interference in our domestic issues, should be taken to consideration, the forum said in a press briefing at Jatiya Press Club in Dhaka.

Terming the statements of Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch on the execution of the two war criminals misleading, SCF protested it, Haroon Habib said while reading out a statement at the press briefing.

On October 27, the global “human rights watchdog” issued a statement where it demanded trials for pro-liberation forces and batted for two top war criminals.

Criticising BNP’s stance on the war criminals, Habibur Rahman Shawkat, law affairs secretary of SCF, told reporters that the real face of the party has been unveiled as it nakedly supports them.

Major General (retd) KM Shafiullah also spoke on the occasion.
